Welcome to St Kilda Playgroup.

 

We are a not for profit, volunteer run, non facilitated playgroup based at the Bubup Nairm Children’s Centre, Carlise Street in St Kilda.

We have sessions based on your eldest child’s age that run for 2 hours, 9am till 5pm Monday though Friday, see timetable for full session details.

As well as our age based sessions we also offer language sessions run by members of the local community who wish to emerge their children in their native language/culture. We currently have Russian, Italian, Hispanic, German & Japanese playgroups (please see timetable for day/time).

Parents of multiples are also invited to attend our Wednesday 9-11am, room 2, twins/triplets session to connect with other local families.

We have 2 playgroup rooms with a shared, enclosed outdoor space.  Each room has a range of toys, adult seating & children’s table & chairs.  Both rooms have direct access to the shared kitchenette & children’s toilet/changing area.  Our fantastic outdoor space is complete with a cubby, stage, huge sandpit, outdoor toys & 2 shade sails.  Please note we are a NUT FREE facility so please do not consume any nuts or nut based products whilst at playgroup, especially peanut butter.  Each room also has a vacuum for quick & easy clean up at the end of each session.

Our annual membership of $55 includes:

 

~Playgroup Victoria Membership (includes insurance).

~Use of kitchenette including tea/coffee making supplies.

~Annual christmas party.

~Upkeep/maintenance of rooms, equipment & the purchase of new toys.

~Membership runs from January to December & must be renewed each year to remain a member.
